Unheated and natural green and purple tanzanite displays great dichroic color and brilliance. The soft green hues shift to violet depending on the viewing angle and lighting, very premium unheated color. The shot from the side really shows the color separation and there is no synthetic of this gem, only simulants or substitutes! This wickedly colored round gem could be a ring stone in a protective setting, but with a Mohs 6.5 hardness, will be more durable in a pendant with some complimentary accent stones.
